The riding pack saddle on a journey

From trail to workshop.

Thomas Pflieger developed this equipment from his journeys with mules, particularly in the mountains. To choose a pack saddle, we assess the animal, terrain, luggage and route duration.
A pack saddle carries equipment. Altaï Explore combines riding and packing: it allows travel with pack boxes in a configuration assessed for your travelling companion and the load.

The complete crossbuck pack saddle includes:
- two sheepskin girths;
- the pack-saddle tree;
- removable, adjustable high-density foam panels;
- V-shaped girthing;
- four attachments on the crossbucks for the top load.
Your enquiry helps define carrying conditions and fit on the animal.
