RIDING GUIDE / TREC
TREC
A saddle for orienteering, control of paces and the obstacle course, assessed alongside your other riding plans.

Move with your horse
The orienteering phase involves endurance and reading the terrain; control of paces requires precision; the obstacle course needs a rider position that allows movement. How you ride each phase guides the seat, flaps and rider position.
The Altaïnov TREC version
The Altaïnov TREC version has a semi-deep seat. We assess it against your build, the horse’s conformation and your actual riding. The tree and panels are configured individually. Explore Altaïnov ↗
Assess the conditions of the trip
Sport riding can coexist with a journey. Suitability of this configuration for travel depends on the load, attachments, terrain and stages. We assess these conditions before proposing a configuration; a sporting saddle is not automatically suitable for a journey.
What we assess together
Your enquiry covers TREC phases ridden, route duration, position, horse, equipment and any journey plans. Photographs, conformation measurements and observation in motion complement this information before the configuration is confirmed.
