RIDING GUIDE / LEISURE RIDING
Leisure riding
A few hours in the saddle, a day or two: leisure riding is about enjoying time outdoors with your horse and can sit alongside arena work.

From everyday rides to two days outdoors
A few hours, a full day or an overnight outing do not require exactly the same equipment. We start with what you actually do: frequency, terrain, pace, flatwork and the small items you carry. Leisure riding here means these short outings; longer plans may be considered trail rides.
A saddle for you both
The horse’s age, lifestyle, work, back and observed changes are part of the assessment. Your build, riding style and intended position matter too. A leisure saddle must be chosen for this particular horse and rider.
Observe, then adjust
The Boisflex-Lin tree provides a structure determined during design. Panels and shims allow some adjustments when follow-up shows a need. You still need to observe the back and check the saddle as the horse changes.
To check changes in your horse’s back from time to time, Submit my request. If you have a LiDAR-equipped iPhone 13 Pro, you can also scan your horse’s back yourself and send it to us: we assess it alongside the other information about your horse. Explore ScanFit 3D ↗

Mac Sport for several activities
Mac Sport is offered for leisure riding, trails and journeys. This starting point does not replace assessment of horse, rider and planned load. Explore Mac Sport ↗
What we assess together
Your enquiry covers outing duration, terrain, arena work, equipment, the horse’s history and changes over the year. Photographs, conformation measurements and observation in motion complement this information before the configuration is confirmed.
