Care advice for the different parts of your Altaï saddle.
THE PRODUCTS I USE
Leather care, part by part
I have used products from Trimadel, based in the French Jura, for almost thirty years. In my opinion, they are among the best care products for my saddles.
Start with glycerine saddle soap
Clean with glycerine soap and allow the leather to dry fully.
Seat, panels and cantle
Panda grease, or Trimadel cream to help preserve the colour.
Vegetable-tanned leather parts
Palma oil on vegetable-tanned leather flaps.
Stirrup leathers and girth billets
Panda grease for stirrup leathers and billets.
